The short version

Opskrift collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The app makes no network requests of its own.

Your recipes

Recipes, photos and the text Opskrift reads are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them.

Videos, photos and web pages

What you share to Opskrift is read on the iPhone: speech with Apple's on-device speech recognition, text with Apple's text recognition and, where available, recipes with Apple Intelligence on the device. The first time a language is used, iOS may download Apple's speech model for it from Apple. Web pages come from Safari when you share them; Opskrift does not fetch pages itself.

Permissions

Camera: only to scan cookbook pages. Speech recognition (iOS 17–25): only for videos you choose, on the device. Reminders: only to add the shopping items you pick to the list you choose. Notifications: only for cook-mode timers.

The Supporter purchase

The optional purchase is handled by Apple. Opskrift only learns whether you have bought it.
